Smart eCart includes a full featured shopping cart in which customers can easily add multiple deals or products to purchase. The persistent shopping cart technology allows customers to come back at a later time and purchase as well, logged in or not.
Shipping and Taxes
Smart eCart offers a plethora of custom options for setting tax and shipping rates unique to your needs. These rates can be easily added from the administrator panel and independently assigned/edited for each product, project, and deal.
Registration and Login
If the customer hasn’t logged in yet the Smart eCart provides quick methods to register an account or simply login. Smart eCart also provides a “Guest Checkout”
Customers can easily gift a purchase to a friend. Built-in basic gifting notifies the recipient and allows the admin to resend notifications and update the submitted email address. Gifting can be improved via the Simple Gifting Add-on
Multiple Payment Gateway Support
Smart eCart comes with integrated support for Authorize.net, PayPal Standard, PayPal Website Payments Pro, PayPal Adaptive Payments, and NMI Payments. Smart eCart can also be setup to allow combinations of onsite and offsite purchasing to give customers more options. Additional payment gateways integrations are available as Smart eCart add-ons in the marketplace (Payfast, Payment Express, Beanstream, Pagseguro, Bluepay, Moneris, Sagepay and more).
All user communications via email can be customized via Notifications in the admin panel. These notifications are enhanced with shortcodes for dynamic content and can be further customized as HTML messages.
Once customers have completed the checkout process, they are brought to the confirmation page. From here, they are immediately able to get their vouchers, receipts, and downloads if the offerings’ minimum purchase requirements have been met.
